✽BACKGROUND
The epidemic spreads so fast that the fear among the general public is rising above the chart! It’s known that wearing a surgical mask is crucial for protecting people from the virus transmission, but the panic buying of masks has caused a great deal of anxiety in the society. Now, try your best to distribute the masks to the people in need and educate and guide them through the storm of the pandemic!
✽OBJECT OF THE GAME
To stop the spread of the disease, you must distribute the masks properly among the people in need. Neither excess n or shortage of mask is a good sign in the war against the pandemic!
✽PREPARATION
Put the soap card in the middle of the table and make sure everyone could reach it.
Shuffle the character cards and item cards separately, and put the two decks face down beside the soap card.
Each player draws 2 character cards.
- The player who most recently worn a mask becomes the first player.
✽GAMEPLAY
The game proceeds in clockwise order. On your turn, you must choose one of the two actions：
- Draw 2 character cards and end your turn.
- Reveal the cards from item deck one by one, until you decide to stop or the “rush to buy” happens or special card is revealed.
2Ⓐ. When you decide to stop revealing cards from the item deck, you can take one mask card among the revealed cards into your hand, leaving the other cards on the table, and end your turn.You can also decide not to reveal any card, and just take one revealed mask card from the middle of the table.
2Ⓑ. When there are two identical mask cards are revealed, the “rush to buy” happens!, You must shuffle all revealed mask cards, and distributes them evenly to all players, starting from the player to your left. After that, your turn ends.
2Ⓒ. When a special card is revealed, you can decide whether to carry out its effect or take it into your hand, leaving the other cards on the table, and end your turn.
No matter how you end your turn, you could play at most one pair of a character card and a mask card in front of you to score points at the end of game.
"Each character card can only match a specific mask card, once paired, they can't be changed."
✽SPECIAL CARDS
◉ Wash hands frequently
All players must hit the soap card immediately! The slowest player must ① discard one character card and one item card from his/her hand, or ② put this card in front of him/her and lose 2 points at the end of the game.
◉ Check temperature
All players must press one of their palms on their forehead. The slowest player must put this card in front of him/her and lose 1 point at the end of the game.
◉ Sanitizing alcohol
Keep this card in your hand. You can play this card on your following turns as a free action. Choose a player. That player must discard two cards from his/her hand, you may choose yourself.
◉ Information anxiety
Keep this card in your hand. You can play this card on your following turns as a free action. Choose a player and give him/her 1 or 2 card(s) from your hand. The chosen player can not draw character cards on his/her next turn.
✽END OF THE GAME SCORING
Once either deck is exhausted after a player's turn, the game ends. Score points according to the table below.
- Cards in front of you
- Cards still in hand
Each special card makes you lose 2 points. The other cards make you lose points equal to the number printed on the bottom of the cards except “The Healthy”.
Whoever gets the most points is the winner and becomes a brilliant epidemic precaution expert!
